# Install through a third-party partner

> For advertisers whose tracking is managed by a third-party partner (agency, affiliate platform, tracking tool), and for those partners.

This page is for:

* **advertisers** whose site tags or ad links are managed by a third-party partner: agency, affiliate platform, tracking or redirect tool;
* **third-party partners** that manage these tags or links on behalf of their advertisers.

The Lemrock Pixel works under two conditions:

1. **The pixel is installed on the advertiser's site**, whatever tool loads it.
2. **The `lrclid` parameter reaches the advertiser's site.** Every click on a Lemrock ad adds `?lrclid=lr_clk_...` to the link. This is what ties an order to a click: if a redirect drops it, the order is not attributed.

Each advertiser has its own **pixel ID**, from your Lemrock contact. A partner managing several advertisers sends Lemrock the list to get one ID per advertiser.

## 1. Install the pixel

| Who manages the site's tags | Method |
| - | - |
| The advertiser, with Google Tag Manager | [Google Tag Manager](/en/conversion-tracking/gtm/setup) |
| A third-party partner, with its own container | Add the code from the [Script](/en/conversion-tracking/script) page to the container, like any partner tag. |
| Another tag manager | Add the code from the [Script](/en/conversion-tracking/script) page in a custom HTML tag. |

In every case:

* **Load the pixel on every page**, not only on the order confirmation. It records the click as soon as the visitor lands.
* **Fire it only after marketing consent.**
* **Send amounts as whole cents**: `2599` for €25.99. If your tool provides euros, multiply by 100 and round.

## 2. Check that `lrclid` reaches the site

1. Take the tracking link used for Lemrock campaigns and add `&lrclid=lr_clk_0000000000000000000000` at the end (`?lrclid=...` if it has no `?` yet).
2. Open it in your browser.
3. On the site page you land on, check that the URL still contains `lrclid=lr_clk_0000000000000000000000`.

If the parameter is gone, the partner must **configure its redirects to keep URL parameters**, or at least `lrclid`. Without it, no order can be attributed. If that is not possible, contact Lemrock.

Hashed user data (email, phone) complements `lrclid`, for example to recognize a buyer who orders from another device. It does not replace it.

## 3. Check your setup

Same as any other method: see [Check your setup](/en/conversion-tracking/reference#check-your-setup).
